Hello. I’m Amber Bledsoe, the artist behind AB Paper Goods. I live here in Grand Rapids with my wife and our little daughter after having acquired my MFA from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2018.
I have always had a deep love of fiber and paper; the possibilities are endless. I’ve explored the medium through printmaking, sculpture, and paper-making, but have recently circled back to the beauty of paper botanicals. During the week, I slip off to my home studio while my daughter naps and after she goes to bed. It brings me such joy to dye and watercolor the petals and leaves in this quiet time. My hope is that these art pieces bring you as much carefree enjoyment and beauty as they do me.
